LDSC currently has projects in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Each year non-profits, community and faith based organizations as well as public schools and some government agencies compete in an application process to host corps members. Host sites must show a need for the specific project in their community as well as a dedication to the members' personal and professional development. Host sites must provide supervision and training, complete a modicum of paperwork and pay a small cash match in order to become a partner agency.
