Bard's Early College in New Orleans Program is a unique approach to Early College education, extending the academic resources of the college directly into a public high school.
Through partnerships with public high schools across New Orleans, the Early College Program offers tuition-free, Bard accredited coursework to ambitious high school juniors and seniors who face obstacles to higher education.

_The New Orleans Food Literacy Initiative has launched and is in the pilot year. The Cookbook Project is training and supporting 40 amazing individuals, working in their communities with organizations around the city. AmeriCorps, A’s and Aces, Hollygrove Market, Youth Run Nola, KIPP Charter Schools, The Boys and Girls Club, Oldways, Wilson Charter School, Pentecost Baptist Church, Akili Academy, and Renew School are all participating, and have programs launching in 2015 to build food literacy and cooking skills!

The Pro Bono Project’s continuing mission is to provide free, quality civil legal services to the underserved members of our community. Our work today is as important as at any time in our twenty-seven year history.
By engaging volunteer attorneys, paralegals, law students, and private citizens to render pro bono services, The Pro Bono Project serves clients in Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, and Washington parishes who otherwise might not have access to the civil legal help they need.

Project Ishmael is a small immigration legal clinic for children located in First Grace United Methodist Church (www.FirstGraceUMC.org) in Mid City New Orleans. Our 3 main goals are:
1) to meet some of the immigration legal needs of children in New Orleans through direct representation and education,
2) to coordinate volunteer attorneys to help meet the diverse legal needs of women and children who currently live at Hagar's House, and
3) to challenge systemic injustices that allow children and their families to be separated, harassed, deported or incarcerated based on skin color or immigration status.
