Are you ready to lead here and lead now? Completing an 11-month term with a Serve Louisiana partner will help a vital New Orleans, Lafayette or Baton Rouge-based organization build its capacity to tackle the challenges of poverty, mental health and wellness, youth development and environmental protection. If you’re passionate about improving lives and building a healthier society, we want to hear from you.

MEMBER APPLICATION AND MATCHING PROCESS
The process to join Serve Louisiana involves three parties — the applicant (you), Serve Louisiana (us) and our partner organizations. Here’s how it works:

Explore opportunities.
Check out available positions, review eligibility requirements and position descriptions, and learn about our partner organizations. Identify your top three picks.

Apply.
Next, complete your member application and motivational statements and hit submit!

3.
Serve Louisiana Interview.
Once we receive your application, we will schedule a video interview so we can get to know you better and you can get to know us better.

4.
Submission.
After our interview, we submit your application to your top three picks. Partner organizations should reach out within five business days to schedule an interview with you.

5.
Partner Interviews.
Next, you’ll interview directly with the partner organizations. Be sure to ask questions about what you could expect from a year of service with them.

Matching.
Lastly, partner organizations will offer positions to their top applicants. We want this to be a harmonious match that works for all parties, so we never pressure members to accept a specific offer.
